For more than three decades, BMG has focused on creating and expanding opportunities for our feedyard members & strategic partners to be more profitable & sustainable.

From a bold idea to an industry leader.

  • The Beginning

    For the Beef Marketing Group, innovation and leading from the front is in our roots. BMG was formed by a group of cattle feeding industry pioneers in order to overcome a competitive disadvantage in the marketplace. The BMG cooperative still includes the original feedyards but has grown today to include 16 strategically located feedyards in Kansas and Nebraska with a one-time capacity of approximately 350,000 head.

  • Where We've Come

    BMG continues to lead from the front. BMG feedyards were the first in the nation to be certified to the industry gold-standard Progressive Beef™, a verified system focused on food safety, animal welfare and sustainability. In addition, BMG has aligned with Tyson Fresh Meats as our packer partner and with strategic partners in the beef supply chain to meet consumer demand for high-quality, affordable beef.

    Today, more than ever, consumers want more from their beef. BMG delivers. We consistently produce high-quality, sustainably raised beef with a verified and differentiated story. We are the primary supplier to the Braveheart Angus Beef program, a branded program that delivers consumers premium beef with a verified story. We’re leading the way for our industry in benchmarking and continuously improving our sustainability metrics.
