The Progressive Beef ^TM program is a food safety, animal well-being and sustainability verified system to ensure your beef is safe, well-cared-for and raised in a sustainable way. The system is based on standard operating procedures, training and verification of compliance with the Progressive Beef standard. The program was built using key industry experts' input to produce a verified production system that has substance and integrity.

The Progressive Beef program is customized to each facility's unique beef production practices. Employee training is critical to the success of the program and new innovative training modules are used to test employee knowledge and certify training. Third-party audits are utilized to certify facility compliance with the Progressive Beef standard and maintain the integrity of the program.

The objective of the Progressive Beef program is to assure our customers we are doing everything possible to produce safe beef, well-cared-for animals and a sustainable supply. As an example, we are using the Escherichia Coli Bacterial Extract vaccine* with SRP^® technology.
