- never fed animal by-products
- raised completely on a grass and grain vegetarian diet
- source-verified from birth
Procurement for BMG Natural Program
To satisfy consumer demand for natural beef, Beef Marketing Group works with producers to ensure a steady and predictable supply of qualified cattle. Cattle must meet all specifications and must be verified with the following documentation and procedures:
- Natural Affidavit
- Backgrounders must be on BMG Approved Supplier List for feeding natural cattle
Cattle must meet the following specifications:
- Minimum 51% Black Angus
- Prefer 45-day weaned
- Pre-conditioned

- Two rounds of vaccinations

- 2 viral vaccinations
- 1 Pasturella
- 2 Clostridial
- De-wormed
- Bunk and water broke
- Proper nutrition
- Have never received antibiotics
- Have never received hormones
- Have never received animal by-products
- Treated animals must be uniquely identified
